Wayne, Nebraska, a small town of just over 5,500 people, is once again host one of the largest rugby tournaments in the country. Entering it's 13th year the Battle on the Nebraska Prarie brings in teams from all over the country. Already 60 teams have registered with more every day. With a town only 13 block long but with a massive rugby complex (that was hit by a tornado last year) the only thing there is to do is focus on rugby.
Another added element to this year's tournament, which runs from April 5-6th, is the NSCRO men's 7s qualifier. The win over that tournament will play for the NSCRO national title run in conjunction with the Collegiate Rugby Championship.

Teams can also enter a "1/2" team and will be paired up with another team from the other side of the country to run for the championship. Teams from the Eastern and Pacific time zones will have their entry fees waived and receive free lodgin. This year teams from Eastern Washington, Canada, and several other states. Off the field, Saturday night will have a Toga Dance with the live band Pyro.
