The High School All-Americans have barely missed out on the Cup round at the Rosslyn Park 7s. Overall the team went 2-1-1 but with only 10 points finished behind Sherborne School and Coleg Gwent. The day began with the HSAA's playing fellow American side ICEF. The team took an early 7-0 lead before ICEF struck back. However, after that it was all HSAA's as they ran in six more tries to win 40-5.
The team's next match came against Coleg Gwent. In a back and forth affair Coleg went into the half up 12-7. They soon made it 19-7 in the second half but two tries from the U.S. tied the match. Unfortunately, Coleg Gwent scored near the end to win 16-19. Sherborne School was next and with snow falling the teams managed only a 7-7 draw.

With one win, one loss, and one draw the All-Americans had a chance to advance to the Cup round if they had things go their way against Bishop Burton College. The U.S. scored first on an unconverted try and then Bishop Burton responded with a converted on. The U.S. then scored two more unconverted tries to win 15-7 but it wouldn't be enough as other scores wouldn't break their way.
The ICEF team fought hard on the day but finished winless in the pool.
