Boston helped their case of finishing in the top two after they beat Mystic River 55-8. Lastly in the division, the Boston Irish Wolfhounds, the best of the rest, beat Middlesex 57-5. All the top teams have now played 10 matches and NYAC sit nine points clear on 49 points. Boston and Old Blue are tied with 40 points. Mid-Atlantic

The Norfolk Blues have clinched the top seed in the Mid-Atlantic. They beat Schuylkill River 45-24 last Saturday. The Blues scored four tries in the first 25 minutes before the Exiles answered with one of their own. That lead would be enough as both teams traded tries the rest of the match. The Exiles currently sit fourth in the standings. Right behind them are the Maryland Exiles, who beat NOVA 40-14.

Red River

There is still much to play for in the Red River as things could get very interesting at the end of the season. New Orleans remain on top and earned some breathing room after they beat the Dallas Reds 19-10. Ross Bellaci opened the scoring with two penalties for NOLA before Chad Joseph replied with one of his own for the Reds. NOLA's Jeff Reuther scored soon afterward to increase the lead they wouldn't relinquish. The Reds stormed back and earned a try of their own but in the end it wasn't enough. The Austin Blacks helped their chances of making a late push for a top two spot with another win. They beat the Griffins 34-31. Deigo Sotelo had a hattrick for the Blacks. The Dallas Harlequins rebounded from their loss last week with a 39-0 win over the Austin Huns.

Midwest

(Note: We, using a reliable scoreboard tool, we misled to think Metropolis lost to Cincinnati 7-0. That is not true, they beat the Wolfhounds 33-7.) Palmer also won over the weekend, beating Columbus 30-5.
