This week's choice for Rugby Marketplace Player of the Week was an easy one. Kyle Sumsion may not have scored for BYU as they won the Varsity Cup over Cal but he did everything else. He was a major presence for the Cougars in all aspects of the game. Defensively he was massive, creating turnovers and keeping Cal honest. Offensively he made hard runs that set up teammates. Anyone who watched Saturday's match can see why national team selectors rate him so highly. The best part for him is that he still has one more year left at school.
