Eagles 7s head coach Matt Hawkins has made two changes from Glasgow to London with Carlin Isles coming in for the injured Mike Teo and Madison Hughes replacing Ryan Matyas. Isles has not featured for the side over the last three tournaments coinciding with his signing with the Glasgow Warriors. With Te'o injured it makes sense that Hawkins would pick someone close and someone familiar with the team. Folau Niua would have been another option but it seems the Isles is preferred. So far Isles hasn't made an appearance for Glasgow in the RaboDirect Pro12 but did play for the team in the Melrose 7s and played in the Scottish Premiership.

Hughes's selection is a major coup for the team. He was sorely missed in Glasgow after outstanding performances in Hong Kong and Tokyo. He gives the team a great playmaking option as well as a solid boot. Matyas has been on the team several times this year but has yet to break through. The quarter is still not over for Dartmouth but making the extended trip to London is easier for Hughes than taking an impossible two week break.

Hawkins will be hoping that Isles and Hughes help the team after a dreadful 0-5 appearance in Glagow.

Eagles squad: Mike Palefau, Nick Edwards, Danny Barrett, Garrett Bender, Zack Test, Brett Thompson, Will Holder, Andrew Durutalo, Pono Haitsuka, Madison Hughes, Nu'u Punimata, Carlin Isles
