Pre-game: It is hot here but there is a slight breeze.
Pre-game: The match begins at 7:30 after pre-game. It is live on Universal Sports.
Pre-game: Anthems done. About to get underway.
We're underway!
2: Scotland coming out attacking early but Wyles collects a chip and clears. Scotland had advantage, will go for lineout.
3: U.S. pinged with a penalty. Laidlaw will take the penalty attempt from 40. It's off the post!
6: U.S. penalized in the scrum. Laidlaw's easy attempt goes over. 3-0 with 6 minutes gone. Ref had a talk with Clever about infractions.

10: After several phases in the Scotland end it's the Eagles turn to earn a penalty. They will go for the posts. Wyles's kick is good. 3-3 with 10 minutes gone.
12: Todd Clever with a massive run but on the subsequent phase the U.S. is judged to have held on. First major offensive threat.
15: Scotland try! Tim VIsser is the beneficiary of a brilliant move by Laidlaw to take the ball out of the ruck into space. The conversion is good. 10-3 to Scotland. Laidlaw showed his class there. Scotland may not be deep but they have world-class players.
17: Visser nearly through again but he knocks it on. Scotland is exposing the U.S. right now. Coolican on for Thiel with and injury. Andrew Suniula is now off with an injury. Folau Niua is coming on.
23: The U.S. is avoids another try when Scotland make a mess of it in the tryzone. Credit to Wyles for a good tackle. Then the ball is held up on the ensuing lineout.
25: Scotland in again. The TMO will review this one but it looks like Visser. But NO try! Then the U.S. hold it up.
29: Kilifi gets the yellow card for persistent infringement in the scrum. It had been coming. Nick Wallace on, Hayden Smith off.
30: Penalty try! The ref has had enough and he gives it to Scotland. Laidlaw's penalty is good. 17-3 to Scotland. 10 minutes left in the half. Same issues for the U.S. once again.
33: U.S. look to be over but the ref is going to the TMO. No try! Clever's effort is no good. Opportunity lost there to get a try back before halftime. Clever looked to have a double movement. Still, the Eagles aren't getting any favors from the ref.
37: Jim Hamilton off for Scotland with an ankle injury. Gilchrist in.
39: Scotland penalized for obstruction. Wyles will have a shot at goal.  The kick is no short. Those were needed points. Kilifi back on. Wallace off.
Halftime.
Scotland made mistakes but the U.S. were their own worst enemies with defensive lapses and a not punching in a try.
Second half underway!
41: Wallace is on for Fry. No other changes to report.
47: The U.S. defense is coming up strong so far in this half but a lot of back and forth.
50: Scotland pinged. Wyles's kick is good! 17-6 with 30 minutes to go. Let's see if that's the catalyst for the Eagles. This should be the time of the match that Scotland begins to wilt (if they do).
52: Lamositele on for Kilifi.
53: Danny Barrett on for Hayden Smith. LaValla will move to lock.
53: Big scrum for the Eagles and they create a turnover. That was big. Could have easily been another Scotland try that would have sealed it.
57: Ill-advised kick from Hume there. The Eagles had a decent spell of possession and had worked to close to the 22.
61: Momentum swinging in the favor of the U.S. at the moment but they need a score.
62: Another opportunity lost with a knock-on. Tuisamoa on for Stanfill.
66: Try Scotland! Wyles can't come up with the attempted chip from Suniula. Hogg gathers and runs 60 meters for the corner. Laidlaw's conversion is good. 24-6 to Scotland with 13 minutes left. In all likelihood that is the game. Petri out, Maupin in.
77: Chad London on for Todd Clever. Scotland content to wind the clock down. Both teams with back and forth play.
