St. Ignatius have won their second straight Ohio sevens championship to go along with their 15s title. They defeated Indian Springs 19-7 in the final. Captain and tournament MVP Aedan Managan scored two tries in the final and set up a third. To make the finals St. Ignatius went 2-0 in pool play by beating the Toledo Jr Celtics 19-14 and Brunswick 19-6. In both matches they were down at the half. In the semi-finals they beat Pickerington 26-0. It wasn't all bad for Pickerington as they beat the Celtics for third place.
The DII title went to Perrysburg, who was competiting in their first ever season of 7s. They beat Shaker Heights, Mentor, and Stark County in pool play before beating Highland in the semi-finals and then Brunswick 24-14 in the final. Brunswick went up 14-0 before Perrysburg scored 24 straight points. Chris Labadie was named the MVP.
