The Women Eagles showed a lot of positives signs over the weekend in their 17-13 loss to England. That match was their final warm-up before the World Cup and it looks like they have found the right combination of players. One of the players to shine was Vanesha McGee who scored two electric tries. For that effort she has earned our Rugby Marketplace Player of the Week award. The Eagles are going to need speed on the outside if they are to have any chance of making the semi-finals at next month's World Cup. McGee not only brings that but she brings plenty of experience as well. It's easy to see why the team is confident they can score tries and do well at the tournament.
