San Jose, CA July 15, 2014: The Pacific Western Rugby Conference announces their 2014 All-Star Selections. With the undefeated season from Stanford, Stanford has six starting players the most than any other team from the conference. Not only that they are represented from a player side they are also represented by having the Coach of the Year Matt Sherman.
The All-Star selection has a nice mix of senior players and younger players. Every team from the conference is represented. James Fonda, the Commissioner of the Pacific Western Rugby Conference commented by saying, “All of these players really shined throughout the year. They deserve to be selected. Matt Sherman deserves to be selected. He did a great job with Stanford this year.”

Some of the players that really stand out this year was Max Longanecker from San Jose State University, Jackson Wagner from Frenso State University, and 2nd time all-star Charlie Brennan from Chico State University. These players excelled at their position and also showed great leadership.
