Head coach Pete Steinberg has made near wholesale changes to the Women Eagles starters as they get ready to face Kazakhstan on Tuesday. Only five players have been retained from Friday's loss to Ireland and of those five players two have changed positions.
The back-row pair of Lynelle Kugler and captain Kate Daley remains the same. They will be paired with Shaina Turley, who is making her first start of the tournament. The rest of the forward pack has been swapped. Naima Reddick and Sarah Wilson come in for Hope Rogers and Jamie Burke at the props, Kitt Wagner replaces Katy Augustyn at hooker, and Lauren Daly and Sharon Blaney are the new lock pairing in place of Carmen Farmer and Sarah Walsh.

In the backs Emilie Bydwell remains in the centers but switches from inside to outside. Bui Baravilala played outside center against Ireland but will switch to fullback against the Central Asians in place of Meya Bizer. The only back to keep her position from Ireland is Vanesha McGee who remains at 14.
The new halfback pairing is Deven Owsiany at scrumhalf and Hannah Stolba at fly-half. Jossy Tseng and Kimber Rozier manned those positions against Ireland. Nathalie Marchino will join McGee on the wing in place of Sadie Anderson with Sylvia Braaten playing inside center.
The bench has a lot of experience with Augustyn, Burke, Sarah Chobot, Walsh, Farmer, Anderson, and Bizer on the bench. All but Chobot started against Ireland. Of the players that played against Ireland, Rogers, Jillion Potter, Tseng, and Kimber Rozier are not in the line-up against Kazakhstan.
