The pools for this month's Battle in the Bay have been released. As expected top teams from the West Coast will all be participating. Teams from California, Arizona, Utah, Washington, and Oregon will all be playing in four separate and balanced pools.
The headlining pool is Pool B with Cal, Utah, UC-Santa Barbara, and Arizona State. Cal and Utah have history against one another with Utah's CRC win coming over Cal in the inaugural year. Santa Barbara and Arizona State can't be counted out either. That said, it should be a fight between a resurgent Utah team and Cal for the the top spot in the pool.

Finally, Pool D is more even with UCLA, Santa Clara, San Diego, and Western Washington.
