NYAC have finished their inaugural fall American Rugby Premiership season with a 3-1 record after beating Boston 20-6 on the road. NYAC's only loss of the fall was a 32-29 loss to Life. Despite missing some of their top players--Brian Doyle, Troy Hall, and Justin Hundley--to Eagles and personal duty NYAC was still able to hold out for the win.

Both sides played extremely physical with neither giving up much in the first half. Boston would go into the break up 3-0 on a Richie Lobb penalty. Boston were aggressive throughout the half and probably feel unlucky not to put more points on the board. Despite the final outcome Boston once again showed they are a team that can make an impact.

The second half saw more of the same defensive pressure but with NYAC being able to have more of the action. Mike Petri, who wasn't absent with the Eagles, Kyle Granby, and Chris Baumann, who has been extremely hot the last few weeks, all scored for NYAC. Lobb added another penalty to make the final 20-6. Replacement fly-half Tobias Henry also added a penalty for NYAC.

NYAC are the only team to have concluded fall play at this point of the season. The other teams will finish at the end of the month. At 3-1 NYAC will like where they are positioned heading into the spring season. However, Life look like the dominant team so far and their meeting on April 11th will be big.
