Midwest

The Midwest is up in the air after another week of tight matches. The biggest result saw the Milwaukee Barbarians beat visiting Metropolis 25-24. The win puts the Barbarians within distance, especially with their game in hand. The match was tight throughout with both teams having their opportunities. The Barbarians got a couple of penalties from Nick Vigder and tries from Ben Landry, Mark Fine, and Jeremy Petfalski. Another team to gain was the Chicago Lions, who thumped Palmer 51-7 and now sit with 28 points.

The Cincinnati Wolfhounds also took a positive step by beating Columbus 26-22. Columbus got on the board first before the Wolfhounds would score two tries from Sam Mcanich. Tries on each side of the half from the Wolfhounds sealed up the match. The Kansas City Blues will take on the Chicago Griffins this Friday with a chance to move up the table.

Mid-Atlantic

Another week and another win for the Potomac Exiles. Their tight 27-26 win over the Raleigh Vipers sees them improve to 7-0 on the season and an eight point lead at the top of the standings. Chris Saint, who was recently in the Eagles ARC camp, was added to the club and he was big all day. The match was back and forth throughout. The Exiles scored first through Mark McKinnon before Rob Grodinsky would peg one back for the Vipers. Saint would then score along with Jason Vanterpool to open up a lead for the Exiles going into the half. In the second half the Vipers scored through Stephen Johnson twice to make things interesting. The Exiles score their final try, once again through Saint with roughly ten minutes left to give them a 27-19 lead. The Vipers got one last try through Johnson but it wasn't enough. Despite the loss the Vipers are still hanging tough in the division.

Norfolk are still in the discussion after they beat NOVA 52-12. Second in the conference is the Baltimore-Chesapeake Brumbies. They beat Pittsburgh 34-13. Tony Wamwea (twice), Jamie Pierce-Williams, Dan Wykowski, and Colby Buss would score for the Brumbies. With a game in hand over the Exiles they are well within distance.

Northeast

The last matches before the winter break were played in the Northeast over the weekend. Mystic River leads the competition with five wins from five matches and had the last weekend off. Among those playing Hartford made the biggest statement with a 87-15 win over Amoskeag. The other match was closer with White Plains winning 22-20.
