BOULDER, Colo. – The final eight teams stamped their ticket to the 2014 Men’s Division II College Regional Playoffs after numerous play-in matches were completed over the weekend.
Bentley, Cortland, SUNY-Oswego, Roger Williams, Rowan, Towson, UW-Stout each came out on top in must-win scenarios, while Colorado College was handed a forfeit by Louisiana Tech. These schools now advance to make up half of the field of 16 at the Nov. 22-23 Men’s DII Regionals.
Reigning Men’s DII Champion UM-Duluth remains in the field after taking the Northern Lights title, as is Salisbury, who was the DII runner-up last fall and won a National Championship in the spring of 2013.

One team will emerge from each region’s rounds of 16 and eight. The four Regional Playoff winners will converge at Furman University in Greenville, S.C., for the 2014 USA Rugby Men’s Division II College National Championship Dec. 6-7.
