With the news that Adam Siddall won't be playing this week as a residual of concussion symptoms and Folau Niua's return to Eagles 7s duty the Eagles, coupled with Chris Wyles continuing to be unavailable due to the U.S.A. Rugby-Premiership deal, the Eagles head into tomorrow's match with Fiji without a proven international kicker. Of the players announced to take on Fiji only really one player comes in with kicking experience. That's Shalom Suniula and most of his kicking experience comes at the 7s level. Andrew Suniula has some experience and has taken a couple of kicks for the Eagles in the past with poor results. Plus, he's on the bench.

That said, TIAR has learned that Suniula won't have the kicking duties but instead it will be Ronnie McLean who will make his starting debut for the squad in place of Niua at fullback. He is a center with his club. McLean is not the go-to kicker for Ealing and doesn't have a lot of experience in the department. However, according to head coach Mike Tolkin he has the ability just not the practice. It a tough position for the Eagles and McLean to find themselves but we'll have to wait and see what kind of impact it has against Fiji.
