Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

With the Eagles tour now finished and the non-Premiership players returned to their clubs it's set to be a busy weekend for Americans overseas. In the Premiership, Blaine Scully, Chris Wyles, and Samu Manoa will all get starts while Eric Fry is on the bench. In the RFU Championship, Tai Tuisamoa is set to see action for London Scottish as they play the British & Irish Cup. In the same competition, U.S.-eligible prop Dave Ryan will play for the Ulster Ravens against Rotherham. Over in France, Taku Ngwenya and Scott LaValla will return to action for their clubs. In the lower divisions of Ireland and France the players will have the weekend off.

British Isles:

Aviva Premiership

Eric Fry is on the bench for Newcastle as they play Sale on Sunday.

Blaine Scully will start for Leicester as they play Wasps on Saturday. Tom Bliss is not in the line-up for Wasps. He usually plays with their academy.

Chris Wyles will start for Saracens while none of Thretton PalamoHayden Smith, or Titi Lamositele (injured) are in the line-up as they play Exeter on Saturday. 

Samu Manoa will start while Cam Dolan is out injured for Northampton as the play London Welsh on Sunday. 

Guinness Pro12

Callum Black will start while Dave Ryan is not in the line-up for Ulster as they play Munster today. Ryan will start for the Ulster Ravens in the British & Irish Cup.

Hanno Dirksen will start for the Ospreys as they play Leinster on Saturday.

James Hilterbrand is on the bench while Brett Thompson is not in the line-up for Edinburgh as they play Zebre on Saturday.

RFU Championship

Tai Tuisamoa will start for London Scottish as they play the Connacht Eagles on Saturday in the British & Irish Cup. 

National League 1

Will Magie and Old Albanians play Robbie Shaw and Esher on Saturday.

Ronnie McLean and Ealing play Coventry on Saturday.

All Ireland League

Tim MaupinPierce DarganConor Kearns and Trinity have the weekend off.

Liam Murphy and Clontarf have the weekend off.

Liam Bourke and UCD have the weekend off.
