With three teams from the Northeast ODA being represented at the the New York 7s the odds were high that at least one of them would come away with the title. In the end it was the home side, the Empire, that would come away with the title. Led by Cup Final MVP Marcus Henderson, captain Derek Lipscomb, Eric Deuchle, Nate Brakeley, and a whole host of strong players the Empire defeated Team Quebec 17-12 in the final.
In order to reach the final the Empire had to beat fellow Northeast ODA side, New England, 28-21 in the semi-finals. Despite the eventual win, it wasn't a perfect day for the Empire. They beat the Connecticut Bulldogs powered by Serevi 26-10 and and the Upright Rugby Rogues from Toronto 24-12 in their first two pool play matches before losing to Schuylkill River 21-17 in their final pool play match.

Team Quebec beat New England 15-14 and the Northeast ODA (mostly a college side) 41-5 in pool play before beating the Bulldogs 21-20 in the semi-final. The Bulldogs, which was made up of players from the Connecticut Bulldogs and from Seattle Saracens, beat New England for the Plate 31-10. Schuylkill River beat the Northeast ODA 24-0 for the Bowl.
The women's championship went to the Aptoella Angels who beat Les Blues 38-5 in the final. The Angels beat national runners-ups up Old Blue 22-0 in the semi-finals while Les Blues beat Scion Sirens 21-5. The Sirens then beat Old Blue 12-7 for the Plate while the 1823 women won the Bowl with a 12-5 result over New York Rugby Club.
In the men's Club bracket CRQ 7s beat hosts New York Rugby Club 31-7 for the title. Princeton AC finished third and with the Plate after they beat Ottawa Irish 33-21. The College final went to Stony Brook 1 who beat Eastern Township 34-5. Lastly, the Ontario Jr. Blues won the Boy's Cup while Team Quebec won the Girl's Cup.
