Eagles Release RWC Qualifying Roster

World Cup qualifying is just a little over a week away. Most of the team from the summer series return, including Todd Clever, Taku Ngwenya, Chris Wyles, and Chris Biller. Samu Manoa also returns to the team. He was a difference maker against Ireland and should be big against Canada. Some of the most notable absences from the roster are Adam Siddall and James Paterson. Paterson is injured and will be out for a while with surgery. Returning to the team is Roland Suniulia, who could pair with his brother Andrew at center. 7's player Folau Niua will also get a look. He is slotted to fill in at fly-half and will back up Toby L'Estrange.

31 players have been invited to camp and that will have to be trimmed down ahead of the match against Canada. Head coach Mike Tolkin has expressed that the goal was to bring in some new players into camp to see how they do. Trevor Cassidy is an forward who has spent some time playing in South Africa. Everyone knows of Titi Lamositele. Robert Garvis is another new name. He is from the Maryland Exiles.

The majority of the team arrived in camp on Wednesday. The Suniula brothers, along with Clever and Dahl, will join today while LaValla arrives on the 10th followed by the overseas contingent of Manoa, Ngwenya, Scully, and Wyles on the 11th. The team plays a warm-up match against Life University tonight.
