There isn't much movement in our rankings this week as most of the top teams pulled out big wins. That said, Army comes back into the rankings and Lindenwood moves up. Things could change this week as St. Mary's visits Utah.
1. BYU (Last Week: 1, beat Salt Lake Community College 58-10): As expected the Cougars had little difficulty beating in state rivals SLCC. The team rested a few players ahead of their big match-up against St. Mary's. Outside of the Varsity Cup final this should be the biggest test for the Cougars before the Varsity Cup semi-finals. Up next: Utah, St. Mary's
2. St. Mary's (LW: 2, beat Cal Poly 48-10): Dylan Audsley scored twice to lead the Gaels over the Mustang. Audsley has played well this year as have Vili Helu and Cooper Maloney. The strength of the Gaels roster this year lies in their depth. That will of course be tested this week with a tough trip to Utah. Up next: Utah, BYU

3. Cal (LW: 4, beat Oregon State 105-5): The trip to Corvallis was not a problem for the Bears as they came away with a big win. The win sealed up the PAC and gave them a good platform before the next few crucial weeks. It's looking more and more likely that their match with UBC will be the best indicator. Up next: Santa Clara
4. Life (LW: 4, beat Lindenwood 25-21): The Running Eagles continue to have close results. At lot of that has to do with the improved quality of Lindenwood and Davenport but it also has to be a bit concerning for Life. They play Arkansas State this weekend. That may tell us a lot about Life. Up next: Arkansas State
5. Central Washington (LW: 5, lost to Seattle Saracens 45-14): The scoreline betrays how close the match between the Wildcats and Seattle actually was. For long stretches of the match Central Washington had the bulk of the possession and showed great play. Look out for the Wildcats in the Varsity Cup. Up next: Seattle Saracens
6. Arkansas State (LW: 6, beat Texas A&M 39-5): The back and forth results continue for Arkansas State. They've been excellent in 7s but have had some up and down performances in 15s. Texas A&M are a good side but they should have won by a larger score. Up next: Life
7. Lindenwood (LW: 8, lost to Life 25-21): The Lions lost but their performance against Life was impressive enough for us to move them up in our rankings. The Mid-South has been the conference to watch this year thanks to the play of the Lions and Davenport. Up next: Davenport
8. Davenport (LW: 7, bye): It's harsh to drop the Panthers down but Lindenwood were impressive. Up next: Lindenwood
9. Utah (LW: 9, beat Arizona 68-13): The Utes got back to their impressive ways with a big win over Arizona. They are still inconsistent but the potential is there. Up next: St. Mary's, Oregon State
10. Army (LW: NR, beat UMass 28-16): UCLA's loss to Arizona State opened the door for Army to come back into the rankings. They weren't perfect against UMass but it's great to see them back playing. Up next: Bye
