National Teams:

In case you missed it, the U.S. and Australia will be holding a press conference in Chicago at 11:00 a.m. et/8:00 a.m. pt to announce a match later in the summer.

The Eagles overcame a poor start to the Glasgow 7s to finish in fourth place after a loss to England. The big match on day two was a win over Australia followed by a loss to Fiji. Highlights of day two can be found here

On day one they lost big to Canada but beat Japan and Argentina

Unsurprisingly Maka Unufe made the Glasgow Dream Team. The U.S. also learned that they will be playing South Africa, Portugal, and France in London.

Lastly from Glasgow, Zach Test went down injured against Australia and is reportedly day to day (paging Thretton Palamo?).

College All-American and Dartmouth coach Gavin Hickie and assistant coach and Yale coach Greg McWilliams were recently featured back in Ireland in separate profiles. 

Club/College:

St. Mary's held on to beat Life in an extremely thrilling and high quality DI-A final.

UC-Davis rallied from a halftime deficit to beat defending champion Central Florida for the DI-AA crown.

On the women's side Penn State beat Central Washington and Notre Dame College beat UC-Riverside.

The Seattle Saracens beat Meraloma on Saturday to gain promotion to the BC Premier League.

SFGG and Glendale are ready for a rematch in the PRP final.

Staying with Glendale, they are working hard in the community and it's getting noticed by the local paper.

The Glendale women's team recently profiled youth player Kristen Shaolosky.

BYU's Jonny Linehan could be the next rugby to football crossover as a punter for the Cougars.

This Is Colorado Rugby's Bernie Decker has reports from the Colorado High School championships, including Denver East vs. Regis Jesuit, Colorado Springs vs. PAC, and Fort Collins vs. Titans.

This Is Ohio Rugby has more on Canton's match against the Detroit Tradesmen as well as a nice segment by John English and Ohio Wesleyan.

Rugby continues to gain a foothold in Western Michigan according to the local news.

Rumors continue to persist that Scotland's 7s team will go part-time if the Glasgow 7s is moved.
