Mid-Atlantic
There were a trio of matches in the penultimate fall weekend in the Mid-Atlantic and once again Rocky Gorge showed their mettle. They moved to 6-0 on the season thanks to a 31-7 win over the Norfolk Blues. Will Miller got things started six minutes in and was soon joined by Nick Kuhl and Josh Brown. Ben Cima, an Eagles prospect who has been playing at Maryland, chipped in with three conversions before getting a yellow card. That card would prove costly allowing Norfolk to score but that would be all they could get. Derek Cheli and Matias Cima, Ben's brother, would add further tries.
Schuylkill River are second in the division after they beat the Raleigh Vipers 29-12. The Exiles moved out to a 17-0 lead thanks to tries from Randy Helsman, Sean Gormley, and Pat Boyle. Raleigh would get a try back through Justin Reed just after halftime but after a slew of subs J.C. Von Holtz and Michael Ruggieri had tries to put the match away. Taylor Whitlow had a final try for Raleigh.
