As we continue to build up to the Atlanta 7s we caught up with Rebekah Siebach to get her thoughts on the team's preparation and life in Chula Vista.
This Is American Rugby: What are you expecting out of your pool opponents Canada, Australia, and China?
Rebakah Siebach: Every pool is a hard pool. Australia just won in Dubai so they will be coming off a high. We know we are going to have to play our best and stick to our game in order to be successful. I'm excited to play and see all our hardwork pay off.

TIAR: Is there anything that the team has done different in terms of training since Dubai?
RS: It has been really great to have a centralized program at the OTC in Chula Vista. It has allowed us to get to know each other on and off the field and learn player's strengths and capitalize on them.
TIAR: You have now been with the Eagles for awhile after playing at BYU. What was the hardest part of the transition?
RS: It is always hard to move to new environments, but this transition has been an easier one by having such great teammates. It's like having a family away from home.
TIAR: What kinds of things does the team do together off the field?
RS: Some of us live together, we eat meals at the OTC together, we have family nights, game nights, and we enjoy the warm weather of San Diego
TIAR: Olympic qualifying is not that far away. What is the team doing to prepare?
RS: We obviously have the Olympic qualifications in mind, but right now we are taking each tournament one at a time making sure we are doing the little things right and we trust all our hardwork pays off in the end.
TIAR: The Winter Olympics are on right now. Does watching the event make you more excited at the possibility of going to Rio?
RS: It does make me really excited! The opportunity to have the honor to represent my country and playing side-by-side with my teammates at the Olympics would be a dream come true.
