There were several 7's tournaments over the weekend. The Woodlands Exiles, now WE, won the West Qualifier in Missouri, New Orleans took home the premier bracket at the Cape Fear 7's, and the New England ODA won the Midnight 7's. Here are the latest qualifier standings.
World:
The Lions are basking in a rare series win after they beat Australia by a big margin in Sydney on Saturday.
Warren Gatland made some controversial decisions leading up to the third test but it seems to have paid off. However, any thoughts of him leaving Wales are premature as he has reaffirmed his commitment to lead the team to the World Cup.
There were consequences in Australia for losing the series as Robbie Deans is out as coach with Ewen McKenzie taking over.
