Press Release
Ontario Blues will face their biggest preseason rugby test next Saturday in Canton Mass, near Boston, when they face the College All Americans at 2:30 p.m. et at the Irish Cultural Center.
With many of the Blues’ internationals tied up with Canada for the month of June, head coach Chris Silverthorn has chosen a mixed side that is closer to, but not at, the level of the team for the CRC opener.
Into the side who opened May 3 against NYAC come Canada prop Tom Dolezel, Canada 7s winger Jake Webster and improving fullback Dan Mathie.

The Blues have played a development side fixture against Atlantic Rock and a Super 7s match in Philadelphia against NY Rhinos, winning both, but for Silverthorn, this is the target game of the pre-season. “The AA’s are essentially the US u23 side and, as a national side, will be a tough opponent. Guys have been working hard at training, both with Canada last week and on our own, and are excited about the opportunity”
