SoCal
In SoCal all three PRP DI sides made statements with big wins although the wins are skewed a little given that some of them played several a few of their PRP players. Belmont Shore cruised to the biggest win with a 41-5 defeat of newly promoted Pasadena. Sinapati Uiagalelei led the way with two tries while Michael Sweet, Patrick Bion, Luga Faatoese, and Jonathan Jackson all scored tries. Andrew Jackson had a penalty and four conversions. Nico Young scored Pasadena's only try.
OMBAC similarly took it to newly promoted Oceanside 43-14 in what should be the first match of a great rivalry. OMBAC took a 36-0 lead on the back of tries from Sione Letoi, Eoin Joyce, Niall Thornton, Adam Clarkin, and Ethan Willis with Ian Denham converting. Mila Setafene scored two late tries while Leti finished off the scoring of OMBAC.

Santa Monica against Old Aztecs was more of a back and forth affair until Santa Monica was able to put it away in the second half. Sean Pipers scored first for Santa Monica 13 minutes in before Jarrod Paul would make it 5-3 after his penalty was good. Harry Bennett for Santa Monica and Brook Gilmore for Old Aztecs would trade tries before a penalty from Bennett and tries from Martial Chaput, Mathieu Lesgourgues, and John Aseme would blow the match open. Gilmore and Pypers would each have one more try.
The last DI match in SoCal saw Downtown Rugby from Las Vegas go on the road and beat Los Angeles 19-13.

NorCal
The biggest match-up in NorCal saw the Sacramento Lions take on SFGG. The Lions were the top team in NorCal last year but SFGG has added depth this year and is looking to make a push in DI. In a hard fought match it was the Lions that prevailed 19-14. They took an early 7-0 lead when Ed Matakibau scored and Ray Kini converted but SFGG struck back with a converted try of their own. The Lions then scored via Sione Tanoa to take a 12-7 lead at the break. It would take thirty more minutes but the Lions would extend their lead with Samuela Waqa scoring the team's final try to make it 19-7. SFGG score a late try to make it 19-14 but they couldn't put in the last try.
Sacramento may have beaten their rival but it's San Jose that will go into next weekend at the top of their standings. They were the only team to pick up all five bonus points with a 41-17 win over Fresno. Mitchell Cunningham (twice), Calvin Sunia-Mafileo, Joseph Matavao, Max Martinez, and Dan Nagle all had tries. The match was also quite contentious with San Jose receiving one yellow card and Fresno two.
The last match of the weekend saw the East Palo Alto Razorbacks beating the East Palo Alto Bulldogs 29-3. The Razorbacks got tries from Alofangia Sakalia (twice), David Sio, Etika Sakalia, and Isimeli Ratumaimuri. The Bulldogs got a penalty from Taniela Lui.
