As the Spring college season starts to get rolling in a big way one of the story lines to keep an eye on is who is going to be the next player to breakout and get a chance to play on the Eagles. Given the school's track record it's hard to not see that player coming from Cal and it's hard to see a more likely candidate than Jake Anderson. The fly-half/fullback has been in the picture for awhile now but this year carries even more responsibility with the graduation of Seamus Kelly. Last weekend at the Dennis Storer Classic Anderson put any questions of his ability to lead to rest with a huge performance, especially against UCLA in the final. If he can keep up that level of play it may just be a matter of time before he gets his shot at the Eagles.
