Women Eagles 7s head coach Ric Suggitt has essentially left his squad intact from the Dubai 7s as they head for the second stop on the Women's World Series in Sao Paulo. Coming into the team is Kristen Thomas from Central Florida and Dana Meschisi. Thomas is a complete newcomer to the Series while Meschisi has several tournaments under her belt.
The core of the team remains the same led by leading scorer Vix Folayan. Veterans Lauren Doyle, Amelia Villines, Hannah Lopez, and Kelly Griffin are joined by Jessica Javelet, Lorrie Clifford, Megan Bonny, Alev Kelter, Kathryn Johnson, Nana Fa'Avesi and Melissa Fowler. Overall, it's a fairly young team but one that should have strong athleticism.
The team will play New Zealand, France, and Spain in pool play beginning on February 7th.
