The 7s season has just started but already we know where it will end after U.S.A. Rugby announced today that the National Club 7s will be held in Des Moines, Iowa on August 8-9th. The tournament will be held at the James W. Cownie Soccer Complex that features multiple fields. The tournament will be streamed by USA Rugby TV. Last year the tournament was held in Seattle with the Seattle Saracens taking home the men's championship and the San Diego Surfers winning the women's championship.
As with last year, the tournament will be an opportunity for the Eagles coaching staff to get a glimpse at certain players. It will also be an opportunity for players that were a part of an ODA or the OTC to get a chance to get in a high-quality 7s tournament.
