U.S.A. Rugby has officially submitted a bid to host the 2018 7s World Cup in the Bay Area

In a similar vein, the U.S. is seriously mulling a bid for the 2023 World Cup. 

The Las Vegas 7s has a key piece of their future in place with the city approving a new stadium. That catch is the city must have an MLS team first.

James Horwill will be leaving for Harlequins after the World Cup. In other player signings, Don Armand, Will Chudley, and Matt Jess have re-signed with Exeter, and the Western Force have brought in Akihito Yamada. 

On the injury front Joe Launchbury will miss the Six Nations.
